A revolutionary advance in respiratory assessment, PneumaCare’s proprietary SLP measurement technologies capture real-time functional images of chest wall movement, allowing for a better understanding of patient respiration parameters. This detailed information is translated into quantifiable pulmonary function outputs for use in a range of hospital environments.
This breakthrough technology allows measurements to be carried out without physical contact with the patient or subjecting them to unnecessary radiological exposure; opening assessment to a wide range of patients from paediatrics to adults, both conscious and unconscious.

PneumaCare’s non-invasive respiratory assessment and monitoring device has been designed with paediatric patients in mind. Focusing on applications that reduces misdiagnosis of diseases through earlier identification of changes in breathing patterns.
Many diseases for the respiratory tract originate in childhood. These include asthma, cystic fibrosis, and neuromuscular disorders. Many current techniques for the measurement of respiratory function in very young children are time consuming and invasive. Even spirometry is difficult, until the age of 6 or 7 years. Up to one third of patients of any age find the technique difficult and accurate measurements are currently inaccessible with current techniques.
